One audio cassette. The Albritton were from Lithia, Florida. Refreshing Showers was #64 in the BF White Sacred Harp book, and Happy Land was # 348 -- Lane's first learned song. Valada was the author of Poetically Just us. She and Tina Flewellyn explained their concept of stoetry -- poetic stories.

One digital audio tape(DAT). The Versiteers, a Jacksonville-based a capella gospel group, consisted of L.V. Starling, Linda Carter, and Myrtle Butler. Law and Wako Kai of Pensacola danced to pre-recorded music. Jose Silva of Pembroke Pines led the Nicaraguan dance group Toco Huaco. Tru-Blu Grass consisted of Bill Hendry (fiddle), Jane Roynl (bass), Eddie Knight (guitar), Jack Piccalo (banjo) and Ken Carey (mandolin).

The Cortez Gran Old Opry featured Carl Spinks (guitar), JP "Goose" Culbreath (fiddle), Lamar Rogers (guitar), Maxine Jenkins (spoons), and Richard Culbreath (guitar).

One digital audio tape (DAT). Between 6:00 and 7:00, the Florida Folklife Program, with folklorist Bucuvalas, presented the 1999 participants in the Florida Folk Arts Apprenticeship program. Banks apprenticed under hymn liner Demps; Ragbir taught several apprentices apprenticed Indo-Trinidadian music; and Edge apprenticed under Chinese zheng player Yao. Then Williams took over as emcee. Jackson played guitar.

One compact disc. A hymn lining workshop, led by Troy Demps (of Live Oak) with Splading and Robinson. Folklorist Stone introduced the singers. Hymn lining, which began in the 1700s, involves the leader signing a line, and the congregation repeats it.
