One digital audio tape(DAT). The Versiteers, a Jacksonville-based a capella gospel group, consisted of L.V. Starling, Linda Carter, and Myrtle Butler. Law and Wako Kai of Pensacola danced to pre-recorded music. Jose Silva of Pembroke Pines led the Nicaraguan dance group Toco Huaco. Tru-Blu Grass consisted of Bill Hendry (fiddle), Jane Roynl (bass), Eddie Knight (guitar), Jack Piccalo (banjo) and Ken Carey (mandolin).

One audio cassette tape. Kazuko Law (interviewed by Diana Godwin) discusses the customs of Japanese dance. She demonstrates how males and females do dance steps and the movements of the fan. She talks about the importance of imagination in Japanese dance. She discusses men's role in dance in Kabuki theater as well as the importance of costume in telling the story of dance.

She describes the Tea Ceremony as teaching self-discipline and talks about the young age at which she began to learn it. She also discusses origami, which she learned from her grandparents, and ikebana (flower arranging). She also talks about coming to feel that she needed to share her Japanese heritage in the US.

One audio cassette tape. McKenzie served as emcee. Toro Huaco dance displays Nicaraguan pageantry (dance is to pre-recorded music). It is a folk dance that tells the story of a bullfight. Costumes are very colorful. Kazuko Law and Wako Kai lead a Japanese narrative dance troupe. Dances performed include: Honen Ondo; Heisei Roman; a dance crafted in honor of the Prince of Japan's marriage to a commoner and Kasa Odori, a dance using umbrellas. Continued on C96-98.

Catalina Trunk describes the Mexican celebrations of Day of the Dead and death traditions in different parts of Mexico.

One audio cassette tape. McKenzie served as emcee. Liliane Nerette Louis, Haitian storyteller, tells "Knick Knack" (a story about a "stupid" family) and a "Bouki" story. She also talks about mother's day in Haiti as well as some Haitian history and culture (such as stories being passed down through women). Kazuko Law and Wako Kai perform Japanese dance (Dionna Godwin of Gulf Breeze, FL, interprets). They perform: traditional wedding dance; Okasa Wakari Bushi (farewell dance); Honan Ondo (folk dance for harvest); Heisei Iwai (dance wishing peace and happiness from Emperor); Kawachi Otoko Busiti (dance about the life of a flamboyant man; they perform this dance twice with audience participation).
