- Ten audio cassettes. Recordings of a seminar regarding teaching folklore in the class room (in the previous years, the seminars were called Folklife in the Classroom Teachers Seminar.) The theme of the two-day seminar was storytelling. Several folklorists gave talks on various aspects of storytelling folklore: David Taylor (storytelling); Pat Waterman (folklife research on stories); Susan Sink (legends and tales); Ethel Glover (storytelling methods); and Thelma Boltin (examples of stories). - One reel to reel recording. Fishing Industry workshop: Folklorist Taylor interviewed the fishers (Filman, Herrin, Bennett) about the occupation and training, and the issue involved. Filman was from Steinhatchee, Herrin was from Mayport, and Bennett was from Welaka. Net making workshop: Folklorist Taylor interviewed the net makers (Smith, Buzier, Mora) about their occupation and training, and how to make nets. Mora was from Cortez, Smith from Port St. Joe, and Buzier was from Apalachicola. The folklife area in 1987 focused on Maritime folklife, which stemmed from Taylor's work on the 1986 Maritime Heritage Project, and cooperative project between the FFP and the Library of Congress.

- One reel to reel recording. Changes and Continuity in Commercial Fishing workshop: Folklorist Taylor interviewed the fishers about types of commerical fishing (crabbing, mullet, shark, and trout fishing), and changes in the ecology and the industry over time. Noles was from Crescent City, and Corbin was from Steinhatchee. The folklife area in 1987 focused on Maritime folklife, which stemmed from Taylor's work on the 1986 Maritime Heritage Project, and cooperative project between the FFP and the Library of Congress.
