Description
One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Dunscombe was from Gainesville, he had been playing the saw for 50 years by 1979, and the festival for 25 years. Called the Musical Carpenter, he was a retired UF professor. Guitarist-singer Bullard was from White Springs. The Travelers were based out of Lake City, the band consisted of Skip (banjo), Claudie (Skip's father; guitar), and Buddy Harvey (Skip's cousin; bass). Buddy taught in Duval County, and Skip and his father owned a TV shop. From Branford, this was Fox's first festival performance. He played since the 1930s. In 1932 on WJBU, he was known as Eddie Fox. The Kellys were from Palatka. From Brooksville, Miller was the daughter of Ed Flemming.

Description
One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Towards the end of the reel, radio commercials for the 1975 Florida Folk Festival were accidentally recorded onto the reel by the Stephen Foster Center staff. It is unknown what was recorded over. The Antioch Junior Choir sang gospel songs, and were from Manning, SC.

One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. The Flemmings were based out of Tampa. Hodges was curator of the Stephen Foster Memorial. Peggy Hodges lived in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Frog Smith lived in Fort Myers. Guitarist Mark was a student at the University of Florida. The CCC boys were based out of Athens, Georgia. The Ballad and Blue Society was William and Barbara Koehler.

One reel to reel recording. NOTE: Due to technical problems with the original reels the recording quality of the 1971 Florida Folk Festival is exceptionally poor. The first half of T77-225 is from the Friday evening program, not listed here -- see separate entry for description. Boltin served as emcee. Pavitt lived in Juneau, Alaska. The Sons of Scotland were a bagpipe group from Jacksonville. Jumper sang gospel songs in Mikasuki. Ed Flemming was a professor at St. Leo College; Sheila was his daughter.

One reel to reel recording. Carter was a music therapist from Tallahassee. From Dade City, Flemming was a professor at St. Leo College. Here he played with daughter Sheila Miller (guitar), Dennis Henry (banjo), Luther Rozar (gut-bucket), and Pat Rozar (vocals). Both Dinella and Myers were from Tampa. Whatley was from Bell, Florida.

One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. From Jacksonville, Jim Crawford played banjo; Gretchen Crawford once sang for the Jay Smith Family singers. Foster and Fitchen were from Cocoa. The Caney Forkers were from Cookeville, Tenn. No Commercial Appeal were from Gainesville. Patterson was from St. Augustine. The rest of Grooms' performance can be found on T83-105.
