Frog Smith lived in Fort Myers. Guitarist Mark was a student at the University of Florida. The CCC boys were based out of Athens, Georgia. The Ballad and Blue Society was William and Barbara Koehler.

The Sons of Scotland were a bagpipe group from Jacksonville. Jumper sang gospel songs in Mikasuki. Ed Flemming was a professor at St. Leo College; Sheila was his daughter.

The Suwannee River Flatwoods band were based out of Fargo, Georgia. The Caney Forkers were from Cookeville, Tennessee. Ron and Van were a bluegrass duo from West Palm Beach. The Beadnells lived in Orange Park.
