Description
Two color prints. Located in envelope #3. Taken at the Hotel Taft's Grill Room in New York City. Lopez began his career as a big band leader in 1921, and had the longest career of anyone in big band music. His tenrue at the Hotel Taft's Grill Room began in 1941, and lasted wiell into the 1960s. He helped Artise Shaw, Glenn Miller, and Jimmy Dorsey get their starts. Lopez died in 1940. These images were originally part of a scrapbook kept by Boltin.
