Description: One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. The Bucksnort Band consisted of Lloyd Baldwin (fiddle); Gail Rogers (banjo); Dwight Rogers (fiddle); Dwight Devane (fiddle). Gerard was from Lake City, and Kloiber was from West Palm Beach. Muller taught at Seminole Community College. Moore was from Fernandina.

Description: One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Bagpiper Hamilton, from Starke and a Florida Times-Union reporter, played first. The Bucksnort Barndance Band and the cloggers were both from Gainesville. Kloiber, at the time a law student at the University of Virginia, was from West Palm Beach; Gerard, a speech graduate student at the University of Tampa, was from Lake City. They met and began playing traditional folk music while students at Florida State University. Dekle was from Macclenny. McKinney and Alvarez were violinists from Starke. At the time Evelyn lived in Petersburg, New York. Popular on the folk circuit in the 1960s, she performed with late husband Bob (and later daughter Martha)as the popular folk act, the Beers Family. They were sent in 1968 by the U.S. Dept. of State on a tour on India, and once played for the White House in 1969. In 1966, they also began the popular Fox Hollow Festival in upstate New York. One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Malkine was from Shady, New York. Lazonby was from Hawthorne. Gerard and Kershner was from Lake City. The Kellys were from Palatka. Skip Johns and his band were from Lake City, and Waddell hailed from Jacksonville. Williamson was from Palatka. Frog Smith told stories, and was from Fort Myers. Whatley, of Bell, sang country music. Bullard lived in White Springs. Hancock played the mouth harp and was from Suffolk, Virginia. The Beseda Dancers were from the Czechoslovakian American community Masaryktown. The Caney were from Cookeville, Tennessee. Bessie Jones and Frankie Quimby, both of Brunswick, Georgia, later became known as the Georgia Sea Island Singers. Moore sang ballads, and lived in Green Cove Springs.

Florida Memory is a digital outreach program providing free online access to select archival records from collections housed in the State Library and Archives of Florida. Florida Memory digitizes materials that illuminate the state's history and culture.

Florida Memory is funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.

For FY2022-23, the percentage of total costs for the Florida Memory program financed with federal money is 66%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $646,422. This program does not receive any non-governmental funding.
