One audio cassette tape. Very poor audio quality. Stone served as emcee. Joe Zeytoonian and Myriam Eli perform Middle Eastern music and dance. Joe describes his instrument, the oud and its history as well as his family's history of playing. They perform the following pieces: "Suzinâk Saz Semai" (Joe on oud and Myriam on riqq); "Saree Seeroon Yar" (Armenian folk melody with Joe on oud and vocals and Myriam on darbuka); "Kerpiç Üstüne" (on oud and darbuka with Joe on vocals) and a 3-part piece. The first and second part of the three part piece ("Muhayyer Kurdi" and "Azziza") are performed on the oud while Myriam dances using zills (finger cymbals) and a hip belt made of metal disks. The third part of the piece, a 9-beat solo, is performed on the darbuka by Joe (who also does vocals) while Myriam makes percussion noises in her dance with her belt and slapping of plywood stage with hands.
