Sarasota Sailor Circus; Curly Dekle and Barbara Beauchamp at the 1992 Florida Folk Festival (Crossroads Stage - Festival History)

Date
1992-05-24
Description
One audio cassette recording. C92-15: Index indicates that recording device stopped and batteries were replaced resulting in the loss of some of the Dekle/Beauchamp discussion - an outline can be found on the index sheet for C92-15. C92-16: Curly Dekle continues discussion of Florida Folk Festival; Beth Higgs and Jeanie Fitchen ask questions. Bill Lee and Beth Gill (of the Sarasota Sailor Circus) continue discussing the circus. Beth Higgs facilitates discussion by Curly Dekle and Barbara Beauchamp on the history of the Florida Folk Festival. Because this was the 40th festival, the Crossroads area was partly devoted to performers who contributed to the festival's past and development.
