Description
One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. (The second half of the reel consists of the Saturday afternoon performances.) Burstine was the wife of the late bob Beers, and lived in Petersburg, New York where directed the Fox Hollow Folk Festival. Johnson was a guitarist from Gaiensville; his partner Wickman worked for the St. Augustine Preservation Board. They sang nineteenth-century songs, The Smiths were from Jackonville. Battle and Koehn were from Tampa. Muller was a dulcimer player, as well as a music instructor at the Smeinole Community College. Tillinghast was from Stone Mountain, Georgia, though raised in Florida. The Sawgrass Boys were from Hobe SOund.
