One digital audio tape (DAT). Ramoutar served as emcee. From 1985 to 2002, Davidson toured the world telling Scottish tales and playing the Celtic harp. After 2002, she devoted herself entirely to the Druidic tradition (specifically, the An Ceile De) under the Fionn Tuluch. She often sang in Gaelic. The Cortez Grand Old Opry consisted of Goose Culbreath (fiddle), Ray Bryant (banjo), Richard Culbreath (guitar), and Maxine ? (spoons).

Description
Two audio cassettes. Interview with Julian "Goose" Culbreath, his son Lloyd, and nephew Richard. They discuss fishing, learning the fiddle, and playing music. They also perform a few songs on guitar and fiddle. Between 1986 and 1987, a partnership between the Florida Folklife Program and the American Folk Center created the Maritime Heritage Survey Project. Focusing on the Gulf and Atlantic fishing cultures, and utilizing photographs, slides, oral histories, and on-site interviews, the survey climaxed with a demonstration area at the 1987 Florida Folk Festival. Also available on reel to reel (reels 6-7). The three main researchers were Nancy Nusz, Merri Belland, and project director David Taylor. One digital audio tape (DAT). The stage was the site for the 2000 State Fiddlers Competition. Trent Watkins, Jones, Keeney, Baldwin, and Culbreath all gave demonstrations of fiddle styles, and were not competing. Staley, Turner, Harbit, Harrell, and Bret Watkins were competing in the Youth category. The Florida State Fiddle Contest was held each year at the Festival on Saturdays (the stages varied from year to year). The winners were allowed to perform on the Main Stage that evening.

Description
One reel to reel recording. They played old time and bluegrass music. Julian "Goose" Culbreath learned to play fiddle from his father (Marvin "Hal" Culbreath), who won many contests on Georgia. Julian originally came to Florida with his family to Hamilton County. In 1921, they moved to Cortez, Florida. Attended school until 16, he worked most of his life as a fisher. He also became a popular fiddler, especially at square dances. He often played with his nephew, Richard Culbreath.
