Recordings of the Fox Hollow Folk Festival

Date
1960
Description
Three reel to reels. The Beers Family began the Fox Hollow Folk Festival in 1966, which was held annually in Petersburgh, New York until 1980. Both Boltin and Ritchie played the first year -- and these undated recordings might be from that year. In 1972, Bob Beers died in a car accident in Vermont. NOTE: commercial recordings by Win Stracke and other unidentified performers have been redacted due to copyright restrictions.
