Images of the Florida Folk Heritage Awards (Sacred Steel guitar player Willie Eason and Everglades skiff Glen Simmons), the Folklife Area (Klezmer musician Bronsztein, gospel group the Versiteers, musician Walker, storyteller Llewellyn, bluegrass group Tru-Blu Grass, Greek-dance group the Dionysus Dancers, and the Colombian Folklore Group, the Dunedin Pipe Band, Seminole storyteller Jumper, Cuban conga dancer Los Rumberos Unidos, the Filipino Community Choir, an whip maker Curly Dekle), and the Amphitheater stage (Bronsztein, Nicaraguan-American Toro Huaco Dance Group, and old-time musician Culbreath.)

One video recording (3/4", 22 minutes). Includes most of Junkanoos performance on the main stage (see T91-30 for audio recording.) Fitchen served as emcee. Followed by the City of Dunedin Pipe Band, who marched from the rear of the audience to the stage. Their performance was filmed from the back the back of the stage, facing the audience. Hard to hear. Continued on FV-71. (See T91-31 for audio recording.) Includes many shots of the audience.

Continues video FV-59 of the peformance on Stage III of Washington DC-based blues duo Wiggins and Cephas. Then extensive footage of the Cayo Huesa Comparsas Band and Dancers performing. Description
One digital audio tape (DAT). (Copied onto C95-156 & C95-157.) Williams served as emcee. Winners of the State Fiddle Contest were: Johnson (junior), Robertson (rustic), Michaels (contemporary) and Walinowski/Chalford (twin fiddles). Mortham was Secretary of State at the time, and therefore oversaw the Florida Folklife Program and the Florida Folk Festival.

One digital audio tape(DAT). The Versiteers, a Jacksonville-based a capella gospel group, consisted of L.V. Starling, Linda Carter, and Myrtle Butler. Tru-Blu Grass consisted of Bill Hendry (fiddle), Jane Roynl (bass), Eddie Knight (guitar), Jack Piccalo (banjo) and Ken Carey (mandolin).
