He discusses working for Eastern Airlines; move to Jacksonville in 1932; his early interest in circuses; types of circuses he watched as young man; types of clowns; acrobatic, and animal acts; first work with circuses in 1950s; employment with the Hoxie Brothers Circus and a 'wild west show'; various circus jobs and duties; treatment of circus animals; circuses in Florida; life of a circus worker; travel with circuses; performers; hierarchy of workers; family acts; performer training; and future of circuses.
