Two audio cassette recordings. Jaime Bronsztein and James Kelly discuss their respective musical traditions (klezmer and Irish); how they are played; specific tunes such as the Hava Nagila (Yiddish) and O'Carolan's Concerto (Irish). They also discuss their family backgrounds, careers and George Phillips. They attempt to play an Irish-Israeli version of the Hava Nagila. Because this was the 40th festival, the Crossroads area was partly devoted to performers who contributed to the festival's past and development.
