137 color slides. Held in August (instead of May as was the custom), the 33rd Festival had a dedication of the new ampitheater, complete with a speech by Secretary of State Bruce Smathers. Images include dancers, singers, audiences, crafts, musicians, and demonstrations. Some of these images have been described in more detail elsewhere in this database.
