Twelve color slides; one proof sheet with eight images. Images of Percheron horses pulling wagons, and the equipment involved. The horses (Percheron horses imported from France, and used primarily by Ohio Amish) were trained and owned by Duvall. Images created as fieldwork for the 1993 Rural Folklfie Days, in which Duvall participated as a demonstrator.

Description
One audio cassette. Duvall, who owned Percheron horse (improted from France), was trained by Amish farmers in Ohio (who also use Percheron horses) on traditional horse training and farmwork techniques. In the interview, Duvall discusses the horses (traits, uses of, and qualities), harnessing techniques, training, driving, and wagons. The interview was created as fieldwork for the 1993 Rural Folklfie Days, in which Duvall participated as a demonstrator.

Description
158 color slides. Includes images of cane syrup making, from grinding the sugar cane, boiling the syrup, and finally canning the end product. Done as a demonstration of the rural tradition at Rural Folklife Days. Each fall, the Stephen Foster Center and the Florida Folklife Program held a festival demonstrating the rural folk arts and traditions of North Florida, including farming, sugar cane grinding, lye soap making, and quilting. Among the rural folk artists in 1994 were quilters Bailey and Jones (slides 766-776), blacksmith Hollenback (slides 777-790), and soap makers Smith and Taylor.
