One digital audio tape (DAT). Ramoutar served as emcee. From 1985 to 2002, Davidson toured the world telling Scottish tales and playing the Celtic harp. After 2002, she devoted herself entirely to the Druidic tradition (specifically, the An Ceile De) under the Fionn Tuluch. She often sang in Gaelic. The Cortez Grand Old Opry consisted of Goose Culbreath (fiddle), Ray Bryant (banjo), Richard Culbreath (guitar), and Maxine ? (spoons).

Description
Ten reel to reel recordings. Recordings of the 1985 Suwannee River Jamboree homecoming held at the Stephen Foster State Cultural Center, the second annual reunion to celebrate the original Live Oak-produced radio program of the same name. The concert included music performances, recounted stories, a recreation of a radio program, and clog dancing. Folklorist Blanton Owen, a renowned old-time musician, hosted the event. Between 1952 and 1959, the Suwannee River Jamboree radio show -- broadcast from Live Oak, Florida on WNER -- was Florida's largest and best known country music show. It was broadcast live three hours every Saturday night, with 30-minute versions syndicated across the Southeast. The show featured many North Florida and Southeast acts such as the Stanley Brothers, Jim and Jesse McReynolds, the White Springs Ramblers, and Clare Parker, as well as nationally famous guests such as Ernest Tubb, Grandpa Jones, and Ferlin Husky. The concert in these recordings was held in 1985 as a homecoming for the original radio series, and included several local bluegrass bands. One digital audio tape (DAT).(Copied onto C94-81/82.) Mutima served as the emcee. The Drava International Folk Dancers were based out of Tallahassee and danced to pre-recorded music. Seaman played fiddle, and Piccalo played guitar. Both were from Jacksonville. Lia Fal, based out of Tarpon Springs, consisted of Debbie Canady (banjo/mandolin), Elan Chalford (fiddle), and Marj Hassen (bass).the swing music band Jobo Todi Band, from St. Augustine, included Bob and Jolene Patterson (guitar) and Dick ? (flute/sax). Jay and Peggy Smith were from Jacksonville; as was the Crawford Family.
