The Wisteria String Band, of Pensacola, consisted of Lonnie Finnely (mandolin), Terri Hilliard (bass), Joe Peeples (guitar), and Max Smith (banjo). They played bluegrass music. Following was a fiddler workshop led by Baldwin, Martin, Higgins, Cox, and Anton.

One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. (The first half of the reel consists of the Saturday afternoon performances.) The Sawgrass Boys were a bluegrass band from Hobe Sound. Howhuizen was one half of the Wiggins Sisters, who played the festival for years. Fitchen was billed as Eugenia Sisinni Jones. The Caney Forkers were from Tennessee. McLean was singer-guitarist-songwriter from Gainesville. Grooms was a journalism professor at the University of Florida.

One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. McLean also wrote the poem, My Soul is a Hawk. Dunscombe resided and Gainesville, and had played the saw for over 50 years by 1978. Rogers was from St. Augustine. His performance is continued on T80-5.
