One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. (The second half of the reel consists of the Saturday afternoon performances.) Burstine was the wife of the late bob Beers, and lived in Petersburg, New York where directed the Fox Hollow Folk Festival. Johnson was a guitarist from Gainesville; his partner Wickman worked for the St. Augustine Preservation Board. They sang nineteenth-century songs, The Smiths were from Jacksonville. Battle and Koehn were from Tampa. Muller was a dulcimer player, as well as a music instructor at the Seminole Community College. Tillinghast was from Stone Mountain, Georgia, though raised in Florida. The Sawgrass Boys were from Hobe Sound.
