One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Malkine was from Shady, New York. The Mitchells were from Washington DC and played dulcimers. The Hallmans were from Greenville, SC. Muller was from Lake Mary, and Tillinghast was from Hollywood. Burnstine, wife of the late Bob Beers, was from Petersburg, New York (she rant he Fox Hollow Folk Festival until 1980.) John Huber was from Knoxville, Tennessee. Flemming was from Dade City. Dirt Kickers was a string band from Tallahassee. The Georgia Sea Island Singers (Jones & Quimby) were from Brunswick, Georgia.

One digital audio tape (DAT). (Also copied onto C97-163) Subik was the manager of Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park. Bullard was President of the Stephen Foster CSO: Friends of Florida Folk. And Condon was the president of the Florida Folklore Society. Plitt played guitar while Bainbridge played fiddle. JU Lee played guitar and Wanda Lee played banjo.

Two reel to reel recordings. Blackwelder began fiddling at 18, a self-taught musician. Born in 1910 in Bradford County, he was in the citrus business. His influences included Chubby Wise and Broward Green. In the recordings, Blackwelder discusses his life and fiddling styles. He plays several fiddle tunes.
