Burstine was the wife of the late bob Beers, and lived in Petersburg, New York where directed the Fox Hollow Folk Festival. Johnson was a guitarist from Gaiensville; his partner Wickman worked for the St. Augustine Preservation Board. They sang nineteenth-century songs, The Smiths were from Jackonville. Battle and Koehn were from Tampa. Muller was a dulcimer player, as well as a music instructor at the Smeinole Community College. Tillinghast was from Stone Mountain, Georgia, though raised in Florida. The Sawgrass Boys were from Hobe SOund.
