Photographed during the Sunray venus clam (Macrocallista nimbosa) survey in NW Florida.
John W. Jolley Jr. was the Florida Dept. of Natural Resources, Marine Research Laboratory biologist who was project leader of the Sunray venus study.
The Hernan Cortez was donated to the state in 1964 by L. C. Ringhaver, St. Augustine, for marine research; 72-ft. wooden-hulled shrimp trawler.
