The Visioneering Company, originally of Cleveeland, has mastered the art of machining the light metal beryllium to the extremely close tolerances made necessary by missile flight and is one of a handful of such organizations in the entire world. Beryllium has great promise for use in ballistic missile nose cones and for protective walls in space ships.
