Vs. Assault & Battery

Francis a Slave

And now on this day comes the defendant by her attorney McQueen McIntosh and moves the court for arrest of judgment and a new trial, where upon after argument, it is ordered and adjudged by the court that motion of defendant be granted and new trial granted.

On motion continued Recognizances taken before the Court in the sum of six hundred dollars to wit. Abner M. Hall two hundred dollars, Spencer Brooks two hundred dollars, and Peter Monroe, two hundred dollars, for the Francis a slave appearance at the next term of this court, and there to remain and abide final order of the court.
