Accompanying note: "Evaluation technicians at Honeywell's Florida inertial guidance facility set up new threshold test for analog-type pendulous gyro intergrating accelerometer. Threshold is term describing the smallest increment of acceleration that ultra-precise instrument can 'feel' and respond to. Accelerometer is mounted in plastic protective case which is mounted on one of nine Leitz dividing heads in the evaluation lab. Dividing head cancels out effects of earth's rotation within 2 seconds of arc (0.0056 degree)."
