Constituted September 13, 1892. First services in brush arbor, present location, until a wooden structure erected, 1892, serving until 1925, then at Odessa St. and Florida Ave., until a gray, rectangular, concrete block, building, with tower, erected 1925, dedicated 1927.
First settled pastor, Rev. R. Williams, 1892-1902. Common school education. Present pastor, Rev. Walter A. Caesar, 1938--, 254 Oak St., Jacksonville.
