Accompanying note: "Jesse Aaron is a 90 year old sculptor who was called by god eight years ago to 'carve wood.' His first sculpture was completed that very evening, as he worked all night. He has been sculpting in cypress and cedar ever since. His tools consist of a chain saw, hammer, a two inch chisel and a pocket knife. He casts eyes by pouring an epoxy resin into egg cartons. He also uses found objects such as antlers, animal bones and teeth. His sculptures range in size from small masks to larger than life creatures."
