  • Two audio cassette tapes. Tozzer served as emcee. Walter McKenzie, Laurel Dabbs, Charles Parker and Paul Greene discuss woodcarving as folk art. McKenzie remembers Dan Marshal (The session is a tribute to him). Laurel Dabbs discusses functional decoy construction. Paul Greene discusses his early days at the Folk Festival. Woodcarving as artistic, contemporary and as a folk art is discussed as well as specific aspects of the craft such as cornstack carving and whittling.
