Winners of the State Fiddle Contest were: Johnson (junior), Robertson (rustic), Michaels (contemporary) and Walinowski/Chalford (twin fiddles). Mortham was Secretary of State at the time, and therefore oversaw the Florida Folklife Program and the Florida Folk Festival.
