Topics include jokes; Yiddish theater; acting; medicine shows; traveling theaters; comedians; pitching at carnivals and fairs; performing on the radio; moving to Florida in 1969; the differences between vaudeville and burlesque; and learning the craft. Provides several examples of his material. Material used for a public radio on traveling entertainment, a copy of which can be found in S 1576, box 16, tape C83-15.
