  • One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Rev. Williams was from Tallahassee, where he played in front of Hicks Drug Store. This was his third festival. From San Antonio, Florida, the Beaumont Family consisted of David (age 16, banjo), Michael (age 14, mandolin), Kathy (age 13, guitar), Allison (age 12, bass), Stephen (age 10, lead guitar), and Kenny (age 4, fiddle). This was their first festival. The Windmill Cloggers were from Ocala, and clogged during the last two numbers. Alan McWhorter spoke between the performances. The Makley Family from Jacksonville. They consisted of a mother and two daughters: Elroyce, Bettina, and Ruthanne. Blues singer-guitarist was from St. Petersburg. He was discovered through the North Florida Folklife Project. This was his first festival.
