Patricia Lasche Clements grew up in Miami, Florida, and earned her Ph.D. in education. Patricia Lasche married Dr. Arthur Clements on July 9, 1971. She was appointed to Florida's Commission on the Status of Women in 1996. Dr. Patricia Clements is the author of "A Legacy of Leadership: Florida Governors and their Inaugural Speeches."
