General Note
Born on October 4, 1958, in New York City (Bronx). Family moved to Miami in 1970. After high school graduation in 1976 he married Maria Gonzalez and joined the U.S. Navy serving from 1976 until 1982. Joined the Bal Harbour Police Department in September 1985. He was fatally injured on October 15, 1985 in a traffic accident while trying to join a high speed chase of a fleeing motorcyclist and died two days later. His name in inscribed on the National Law Enforcement Memorial (East Wall, Panel 18, Line 10) in Washington, D.C.
