Mrs. David Bolton
1302 Alhambra Circle
Coral Gables, Florida

Dear Mrs. Bolton:

First may I tell you how much Mr. Clifford and I appreciated the chance to meet with you, and to hear your explanation of your organization’s concern with our “Men’s Grille”.

As I explained, the information given to us was expressed to our top management, and they agreed that it had some justification.  Thus, we have made the decision to change the name, and the “men only” concept, as expeditiously as possible.  We have ordered the signs to be changed, and they are to state “Executive Grille”, with no reference to restrictions as to male or female usage.  The signs will be changed as soon as our sign makers can construct the new signs.

Again, our thanks for the clear and concise statement of your goals.  As we stated in our meeting, “thank heavens” for the good and devoted women of this community who have made it possible for us to enjoy a continued growth in south Florida for more that 71 years.

       Sincerely,

       S. M. McCOLLOCH

       Vice President and
       Publicity Director
