of a deed of conveyance from the said Col. Browne to the late Genl. H. Lee my father, by the attorney of Browne, M. Daly Esq., for the same territory, and that No. 3 is a certified copy of a power of attorney from the abovementioned Brown to the said M. Daly Esq.

This grant or the title to it thus vested in my father was by him conveyed to me by a letter—which as he died intestate and deeply indebted to me, is supposed to have the force
