The FFP recorded the main stage/amphitheater (D95-16 through D95-36); the Old Marble Stage (D95-1 through D95-15); the Sesquicentennial Area Stage (D95-37 through D95-50); the Storytelling Auditorium (C95-100 through C95-134), the Folklife Area Workshop Stage (FLN-1 through FLN-34), and the Stage III (III-1 through III-42). For a listing of performers and activities not recorded, see the festival programs located in S 1619, box 5. This was the 43rd Florida Folk Festival. The theme was the 150th anniversary of Florida. For video footage of the festival, see FV-84, in S 1615.
[The recordings for the Stage III and Folklife Workshop Areas were not catalogued by FFP staff. The numbers listed here are the numbers assigned by the field staff as they created the recordings onsite. Stage III recordings are found in box 46, and the Folklife Workshop recordings are found in boxes 47 & 48.] |

the Florida Folklife Collection available at the State Archives of Florida. Approximately
46,000 photographic images and approximately 5,000 audio recordings are cataloged.

Because many of the original recordings are in a fragile condition, patrons
will only be permitted to use digital copies of those recordings. However,
the digitization project is still in progress, and therefore some recordings
may not yet be available. Please contact
us ahead of time to ensure availability.
